I didn't hide my skills because I was scared to show them. I hid them because most people don't deserve early access to what I can do.

Everybody wants to see your playbook before the game starts. Everybody wants proof before they've earned trust. Everybody wants to "pick your brain" while bringing nothing to the table themselves.

That's not how I move.

I learned that once people know what you're capable of, they start treating your skill like it's public property. They expect free answers, shortcuts, and favors. Or worse — they start mimicking shit they don't fully understand and messing it up.

So I kept certain things quiet.

Not out of secrecy — out of discipline.

There's a difference between being transparent and being accessible. I chose restraint. I focused on building leverage, not broadcasting talent to people who didn't know what to do with it anyway.

Here's the part nobody talks about: when you show your skills too early, you attract the wrong kind of attention. You get noise. Opinions. Armchair experts telling you what you should be doing — usually from people who haven't done shit themselves.

I wasn't interested in that.

I'd rather show up when it matters than explain myself every step of the way. Timing beats exposure. Execution beats conversation.

And yeah, I've still heard, "Damn, I didn't know you could do that," or "Why didn't you tell me you knew how to do this?"

Because telling you early wouldn't have helped me — it would've helped you.

Most people aren't lacking information. They're lacking ability. Knowing what I can do doesn't suddenly give them the skill to do it themselves.

That's the part people don't like to admit.

I didn't hide my skills to trick anyone. I hid them to protect momentum. To move without interference. To make sure when something finally showed up, it spoke for itself.

Not everything needs an introduction.
Not everyone needs access.
And not everybody knows how to do shit beyond talking.

Timing is a skill too.
